Today Chad went back to work and PJ and Miko tried to get back into their normal schedule. We like it better when we're together as a family working, playing, and just plain doing things together.
Chad had to get up super early again to make it to work by 7:30am, then he didn't get off work until after 6pm. It makes for a long day. PJ and Miko pretty much start their day around 8am usually, but Miko had a rough night sleeping last night (we kept hearing her cry out in her sleep all through the night) and didn't wake up until close to 9am. All day she acted like she was grumpy and kept throwing little temper tantrums when the tiniest thing didn't go her way.
One thing we are excited about is that tomorrow Chad is driving to Boulder to get a play kitchen for Miko! PJ found it on Freecycle. Since Miko is so infatuated with cabinets, refrigerators, ovens, and such, we thought this will be perfect for her! The lady that's giving it away said that the sounds don't work on it anymore (probably a good thing), it's pretty big, and she will give us all the food and accessories that go with it! When PJ told her it was for a one year old, she offered a bag of stuffed animals and said that she will also put out other toys that Chad can go through once he's there and see if there's anything else Miko may like! Nice! We are loving Freecycle! So far we have gotten an almost new king size mattress for our bed, two old sturdy beautiful dressers for Miko, a really nice changing table, a toddler's desk for Miko, lady bug curtains for Miko, a whole bunch of toys for Miko, and a bunch of little boy clothes for BobbiJo's newborn Connor! All for free - gotta love that!
Today's picture was a very quick one. We're all tired after the long day, and Miko kept saying "Night-night"...she was ready to go to bed!
Night-night, all!
